It's OFFICIAL.

"Passed & Completed the Diploma Course"...

It's finally official, I have completed my polytechnic studies, ending the semester with a *BOOM*. Why *BOOM* you ask? - When I had gotten my first semestral results, I had listed TWO goals that I had thought was not achievable but still dreamed of achieving it.

1. To attain a 4.0 GPA for at least one semester
2. To attain at least an AD for one core module.

Well, I barely achieved the first goal, since I had gotten the 4.0 for the semester that I was on internship. It's probably normal for anyone to get a 4.0 for their internship, so I guess you could argue that it doesn't count as an achievement. Nevertheless, it still states as a 4.0 on the result slip, so I'm counting it anyway. hahah.

As for the second goal, I'm sure you guessed it already... (from where this post was heading towards). YES, you're right, I attained my AD that I had been hoping day after day for. For not just ONE... but FOUR modules this semester. *HURRAY* *POMPOMs* *CHEERS*

I was so nervous the day before the release of the examination results. Worrying about the unnecessary 'what-ifs'.. worrying that I may not do as well as I hoped. But when I got the SMS at about 8.15 am on Friday... I was stunned with the 4 ADs staring in my face. I jumped out of bed, ran to my laptop, switched it on (to check npal), and started screaming like a maniac (yes, my family hadn't left for work yet, so they all heard me screaming)

Never in my life, I had received my results with such joy. Not for PSLE, not for 'O' levels, neither for the past five semesters in Ngee Ann.

I attained the ADs for 3 core modules (SM, BMM & MRSH) & 1 IS module (int.design)... Honestly, I couldn't have done this without my wonderful project mates... Wee for always gathering us together for project discussions and challenging ideas, Janice for always motivating, entertaining and encouraging, Jole for being my bestie, always listening to my rants and ideas, & JiaQi for always being stressed and ever hilarious.

Not forgetting the wonderful marketing lecturers aka. tutors that have made their lectures and tutorials so interesting. It really motivated me into studying hard for the tests and examinations.

For the first time, I felt like all the hardwork that we had put in for the semester has been paid off. (though, there were some disappointment, especially so for MCOMM since it was the module that we had all put it a lot of work, and brain cells in it, but none of us really scored that well.)

I guess this is what some would call, "a happy ending". The last semester in Ngee Ann was the best and most memorable. In fact, the entire 2012 was filled with memories..  making new international friends (my Nepalese colleagues, Chinese colleagues...) when I was in Sanya, Hainan, China. Meeting PleasurePursuits (my project mates). & Ending the academic year with good grades.

From this day on, we may all be heading for different directions in life, but at least, we know that a part of our lives were once spent together, as colleagues, project mates, classmates, etc. I wish for the best for everyone and hopefully, someday, our paths will meet again. (:

Unofficial Graduation!

It's been awhile since I last posted... Its finally MARCH!. =D
Examinations had been over since February 20th... Since then, I've had several outings/catch-ups with fellow friends... which felt really good. (: Been bumming around, mostly at home, which helped in complete relaxation from the tough semester... There were days where I would sleep at 2-3am in the morning and wake up the next day at noon... haha.

These recent days, however, I had to shift my body clock due to a temp event job that I took up which requires me to be at the event venue at 7am sharp. Though its only a span of two days... I didn't want to risk oversleeping. (:

Just a few days ago, a Japanese friend, whom I got into acquaintance with during the interaction session with Komagome High School, added me on twitter. I was so touched that she had the picture (taken with us) used as her profile picture. Within minutes after accepting her friend request, she sent me a direct message, initiating a conversation in English. Though the conversation eventually became fully in Japanese (I replied in Japanese, that's why). haha. I guess its a good thing.. she is very friendly. (:

And so, I am now considered an unofficial Ngee Ann graduate... am currently awaiting for the final results which will be released in 9 days. D: *Dreading...* Anyway, have a good holiday everyone! =D
